Halloween is back in Beach Buggy Racing 2! Update v.2026.10.05 brings a new outfit for McSkelly, along with returning spooky favorites Screamin’ Jack and Spookster, as well as plenty of seasonal treats. It also starts Phase 2 of our account migration, so read on!

New McSkelly Outfit: Skinny Dipper

Our favorite skeleton pirate is hitting the pool in a pair of Bermuda swim trunks. Why you say? That’s for us to know and you to find out! Suffice it to say skeletons aren’t afraid of a little cold water.

Find Skinny Dipper in McSkelly's outfits in the Garage.

Screamin' Jack and Spookster Are Back

Two ghoulish fan favorites are back from the grave! Screamin' Jack, the fire-breathing pumpkin car, and Spookster, the hot rod hearse that rides like a bat outta heck, are available again in the Garage for a limited time.

More Halloween Treats

Seasonal Halloween accessories, decals and paints are back in the Body Shop, and you can of course also earn them in the Halloween Crate. That’s right, the pumpkin crate returns, and this year you can buy it with gems. It's packed with Powerup cards and Halloween goodies for your ride.

Important! Account Migration Phase 2 Starts Now

Starting with this update, you'll need to be signed in with Google Play Games (Android) or Game Center (iOS) to join Tournaments and play Challenges, including the Trick or Treat Challenge. Players still using the old email sign-in can keep playing and syncing their progress, but if you haven’t done it already then you’ll need to complete your migration to play online.

Migrating only takes a minute. For step-by-step instructions, see our migration guide. For the full plan and FAQ, check out our original announcement.
