Something pretty amazing happened this week: the Vector Unit Discord server passed 10,000 members!
When we started the server, we hoped it would become a place where players could hang out, swap tips, and talk with the team behind the games. Together, we’ve turned it into so much more. From heated Discord Tournament contests to V_U Bot rewards, from strategy discussions to your incredible fan art, the Discord has become one of our favorite places on the internet. It’s where we share insider previews, test ideas, and find out what you really think (and you’re never shy about telling us!).
Hitting 10,000 members deserves a proper party, so here’s what we’re doing this week:
🎁 Discord Raffle
We’re giving away a pile of in-game prizes and game codes to lucky Discord members. Our steadfast Community Manager Nate will be running the raffle giveaway on the server. 20 lucky winners will get their choice of prizes: an in-game code for a BBR2 vehicle or driver of choice, or a code for one of our console/PC games!
Keep an eye on the Discord channel for all the details on how to enter.
🏆 10K Celebration Tournament
We’ve set up a special Beach Buggy Racing 2 tournament open to all Discord members (and beyond!) Tuesday 11/3 through Wednesday 11/4. Normally Discord tournaments are only open to a few people on the whitelist, but this one is a little different.
To see the “secret” tournament, make sure you have the latest BBR2 installed, navigate to the Events screen, and enter the code 10000389 down at the bottom of the tournament list. (Look at it on a phone keypad and you’ll see why we call it “10,000 FTW.”)
Just like in our Discord community, all are welcome to join! Pass the code along to your friends and bring them into the game. (Note: this isn’t an “official” Discord Tournament and won’t earn a Hall of Championship badge.)
🖼️ 4K Wallpapers
But wait, there’s more! To dress up your desktop and phone in style, we’ve put together a special batch of 4K wallpapers, curated by our artists here at Vector Unit. Download them right here:
Thank You!
Most of all, we want to say thank you. Every member of this community, whether you’ve been around since the early days or just joined last week, is part of what makes making games so rewarding for us. Your feedback and creativity inspire our team, and your enthusiasm keeps us going!
If you haven’t joined yet, now’s the perfect time. Hop in, say hi, grab the tournament code, and enter the raffle. We’ll see you on the racetrack!
